“The Great Expansion”
The “Build-out” of the 8480 & 8490 Buildings: The ministry of LifeChurch is growing and so is our space. Construction is underway in the 8480 Building to remodel several rooms for our future “Small Group” ministry and to create much needed storage for our “Food Pantry” and other vital ministries of LifeChurch. Full-scale construction in the 8490 Building has begun and is scheduled for completion in April of 2010. Your continuing prayers on behalf of His growing ministry center in this strategic region, is vital as we reach the neighborhoods and the nations for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
UPDATE: Because Discipleship is vital to the health and growth of the church, we are very excited about the completion of our new facility and the launching of our new Sunday “Small Group Ministry” for Adults and Teens, our new “LifeKids Children’s Ministry” (ages infants to grade 6) and our new “LifeChurch Sanctuary”, all on Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2010.
Here’s how to make this exciting day for our church and community easier for you, your family and the people you invite.
Since the new Sunday Small Groups begin at 9:15 a.m., parents with children will want to arrive early and place their children in our new LifeKids Sunday School (located in new building) where our Children’s Pastor, Cathy Hageman, and her Staff will share Bible lessons, games, activities and healthy snacks beginning at 9:15 a.m. After arrival, you can get a coffee at the new Café in the lobby and then enjoy your Small Group beginning at 9:15 a.m. (sharp) and ending at 10:15 a.m. (sharp). After Small Group, find your seat in our new sanctuary for the “Encounter and Awakening Worship Service” beginning 10:30 a.m. Parents with children arriving for Worship Service are welcome to take their children to LifeKids Children’s Church before service begins. Those children, who arrived earlier for LifeKids Sunday School, will remain in the LifeKids ministry area for LifeKids Children’s Church during the Worship Service.
For the next several weeks, in the back of the Sanctuary, we will have a display listing all the Small Groups, topics, teachers and a floor plan of both buildings highlighting the locations of each group. Please sign-up for the group of your choice so we can better prepare the classrooms and lessons. You can also view our Spring Quarter selections by going to our website. Under the “Gathering” icon click “Small Groups” www.lifechurchwestchester.com.
Again, please make plans to arrive early, register children in LifeKids, get a fresh coffee from our new café and enjoy your Small Group and a powerful worship experience in our new LifeChurch Sanctuary.

The Purchase of the “11 Acres with 3 Commercial Buildings”: In addition to our current 2 buildings (8480 & 8490 Buildings) and 3 acres, LifeChurch has recently completed the purchase of an additional 11 acres of land surrounding our location. This includes the corner of Butler-Warren Rd. and Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., the 3 Commercial Buildings going south on Bulter-Warren Rd., and continuing south to the property line of the first residential house. “Environmental Tests” were completed on the 11 Acres prior to purchase and the land was cleared for us to secure. We have begun beautifying the 11 acres and the buildings to better represent our Great God and His ministry to the neighborhoods and the nations through LifeChurch. We will honor our tenants with secure leases and faithful oversight of the property as landlords / owners. Your faithful intercession on behalf of God’s Kingdom work in West Chester and Mason are releasing God’s favor upon us. His “Great Light” is breaking through the darkness of our land and the Spirit of God is being poured out upon our community and region. To God Be The Glory!
The New LifeChurch “Church Plant” in Norwood: “The Great Expansion” vision includes our new church plant called LifeChurch - Norwood. Pastor Joshua Wotawa, his precious wife Amberly and four children, Isaac, Anna, Elijah and Philip have begun a “Small Group / Launch Team” for the new Church to be started in Norwood. The new Church is scheduled to launch September 19, 2010. Please pray earnestly for Pastor Joshua and his family as they work through the assessment process with the Church Planting Leadership Teams and training the LifeChurch -Norwood lunch team. Jesus said, “I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). In Psalm 16:1 we read, “The heavens declare the glory of God…”. Just as God’s universe is always expanding and declaring His glory, so is His Kingdom ever expanding and declaring His glory. Therefore, let us His people declare His glory, expand His Kingdom, and build His Church together. Let us humble ourselves in prayer and rise-up to obey His ”Great Commandment”, fulfill His “Great Commission”, and prepare everyone for His “Great Judgment”. To God Be The Glory!
